Jen has been practicing different styles of yoga for over 8 years. She found Gentle Yoga when her girls were toddlers. Like so many younger, active people, she had no idea how to slow down. She did Tae Bo, ran, hiked, and worked out. She volunteered in her girls’ schools and at her church. After Gentle Yoga, she finally felt blissful, relaxed, and less resentful of having to take care of everyone and everything. She felt she was able to give again joyfully and she felt more aware and alive. In the mornings, her favorite style of yoga is Gentle Yoga. She finds that her personal practice and teaching classes give her the peace and tranquility she needs as the busy mom of 3 girls, ages 12, 10 and 8. Jen is a loving spirit with a deep passion for life. She has a peaceful manner and a soothing voice. She says she just knows that she whole-heartedly loves the gift of yoga in her life and she hopes she can share this gift with others so they too can learn how to heal and restore themselves.

She is also a member of YES (Yoga Education Society), is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified instructor and an instuctor at A Gentle Way Yoga. Jen practices many types of yoga, and believes it helps bring union of body and spirit which brings more joyful living!
